    Public Access & Accounts

    The public feed, briefings and source registry can be viewed without signing in. If you create an account, we process your email address, authentication details and any profile information you choose to provide.

    Account Preferences

    Watchlists, saved filters, your stack and notification preferences are stored for your account so they can be used across devices. Profile photos you upload are also stored.

    Appearance

    AppSec Pulse uses dark mode only. No appearance preference is stored in your browser.

    Usage & Security Events

    The platform records some usage and security events, including account-related activity, to support operation and abuse prevention. Hosting services may also process request metadata, including IP addresses.

    Feed Source Data

    AppSec Pulse aggregates publicly available vulnerability records, advisories and signals. The Sources page lists contributing sources and their recorded status.

    AI-Generated Content

    Public vulnerability evidence is processed by AI services to produce summaries and analysis. Citation checks reduce unsupported output, but do not guarantee that every claim is correct.

    Browser Storage

    Browser storage supports sign-in sessions and local preferences. SBOM scan history is saved in your browser and can be cleared from the scanner. These records may remain until you clear them or your browser removes them.

    SBOM Scans

    Uploaded files are parsed in your browser. Package identifiers are sent to the platform for vulnerability matching; the original file is not uploaded. Scan results and component details are saved locally in your browser history.

    Third-Party Services

    The platform integrates with Buy Me a Coffee to accept voluntary donations. No donation data is stored on or processed by AppSec Pulse.

    Data Retention & Requests

    Public vulnerability records may be removed as part of feed maintenance. Account data and operational records have separate retention needs. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your personal data.

    Changes to This Policy

    We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
